- Closing Your Project
Time Commitment
You can finish the course in less than 4 hours. It's recommended that you have a project you can work on as you work through the course so you're not wasting your time with yet another course. But even given that, you should be able to finish the course work in less than a week (assuming you commit yourself to it).
Who This Is For
Project Management Lite is for you if:
- Your projects are overtaking your to-do list, but you’re not sure how to tackle them most efficiently or even where to start.
- You have a just-the-basics-please approach to project management. You don’t need everything under the sun, just enough to get you through.
- You find the typical project management language and concepts confusing, “heavy,” and total overkill for what you need to complete the project at hand.
- You suddenly find yourself in charge of a project that needs managing, but you and/or your staff have little or no project management training or skills (and no time to master them!).
- You’re a beginner and want to learn some basic information about project management (but not so much that you’ll feel completely overloaded right off the bat).
- You want to boost your skills so you can move into a new career or go after a long-overdue promotion.
- You want to learn a simple, easy-to-use, easy-to-understand, and minimalistic approach to getting projects done well.
- Your last project was a chaotic mess, and you want to avoid THAT mayhem again at all costs.

- Understand your role as project manager as well as the role of the sponsor and other key people
- Know what questions to ask to get clear about what you're trying to achieve
- Know how to build a plan to achieve it
- Know how to get everyone focused on getting it done
- Develop a review process to ensure the work is progressing and things are being managed
- Know how to perform a final review to make sure everything's wrapped up
- Learn some tips and tricks to help make things easier
Testimonials
“Just what I need to get the job done”
– G. Al Jbeily, New Jersey
“The content exceeded my expectations overall as I thought the knowledge would focus on “small projects" only. I liked how the material reviewed full on project management principles in a lay person's format. I also appreciated the build of information from basics to project completion. Most of our frontline leaders manage small-to-medium sized projects monthly/quarterly without any project management training. So having exposure to Juana's course is a Godsend!”
– R. White, Maryland
“PM Lite breaks the “big gorilla" down to bite size morsels”
– D. Caldwell, Texas
